I bought a pair of APC Petit New Standard’s last week. It’s my first attempt at breaking in raw denim. For those who are unaware, breaking them in is a bit of a process - one that involves a lot of wearing and not much washing (if at all). So far it’s been like wearing cardboard, but I’ve been told to give them a good 6 months and they’ll be well on their way to being the best jeans I’ve ever worn. I’ve got high expectations.
My jeans investment got me thinking about denim in general. It’s so timeless. As far as I’m concerned, you can never, ever go wrong with American blue. It’s classic. With that in mind, I combined a few blue denim pieces with some matching ‘classic’ accessories and took a little trip out the back of my house to snap the outfits amongst the outdoors. Here are the results:
Workshop Denim striped tee, Levi's vintage denim jacket, Workshop Denim boyfriend jeans, Converse Chuck Taylors and Vogue Sunglasses.
