ALL PINK EVERYTHING.

I got these pink Ray-Bans a little while ago. They’re the ‘Arista Craft Round‘ and I kind of feel like I’m Yoko Ono or something when I wear them. They’re that classic round metal frame shape that people associate with nerds and Harry Potter. I love it. The technical term for the dusky almost coral shade is ‘Crystal Rose’ (there’s also a Crystal Sky Blue which is pretty amazing too).

Here’s the thing though, I’ve never really been big on any shade of pink. (As a kid, blue was always my first choice.) Pink was always too girly and sweet and up until I set my eyes on these, I never considered it as a colour I might like, let alone a colour that I would put on my face. Sure, pink has still got those pretty, cutesy connotations attached to it, but I’m warming to that candy shade now that Summer is approaching. So, in celebration of the change to warmer weather (hooray!) and my change in attitude towards the colour, I dressed new face Erin (Clyne) in all pink everything (including the shades) and took a few snaps.

These are the results, and if I do say so myself, she’s looking pretty good.
